SINOPSIS

The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family.

SINOPSIS

Sepuluh tahun sudah Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) berusaha meyakinkan Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro), mertuanya, bahwa ia bisa menjadi seorang kepala rumah tangga yang baik. Sayangnya, tahun-tahun yang lewat ini seolah jadi sia-sia karena Jack seolah masih tak percaya sementara di sisi lain Greg sendiri pun mulai meragukan apa yang ia yakini sebelumnya.

Sebenarnya Jack bermaksud menjadikan Greg sebagai seorang kepala rumah tangga setelah Bob, kandidat pertama Jack, menceraikan istrinya. Jack pun mulai mengamat-amati Greg untuk memastikan ia tak salah pilih. Celakanya, masalah jadi gawat ketika Jack mengira Greg punya hubungan asmara dengan Andi Garcia (Jessica Alba). Jack mulai merasa kalau Greg bukan pilihan yang tepat.

Di saat yang sama, Greg juga mulai melancarkan serangkaian aksi untuk membuktikan kalau ia layak menjadi seorang kepala rumah tangga seperti yang diharapkan Jack. Masalah tak berhenti di sana karena Kevin Rawley (Owen Wilson), mantan pacar Pam (Teri Polo), istri Greg, juga datang berkunjung. Dari keruwetan ini mulai muncul kejadian-kejadian konyol yang untungnya berakhir dengan happy ending.
